This is a website I designed and built for a laboratory department in the UNC Hospital system in Durham, North Carolina. I worked closely with two of the doctors/researchers in the department to create a website that would fit within the UNC brand, but also communicate what was most important to this individual department.
The overall goal was to communicate complex information in a clear, logical, and accessible way. This resulted in a website that features multiple paths of navigation, simple graphics and colors, and an obvious and rational grid.
Recently, I was asked to redesign and update the website, and created a responsive web design in the WordPress platform that reflects a more contemporary aesthetic and user experience.
